Description
The eight volumes of Documents on Palestine list the full texts or extracts of numerous statements, documents, and resolutions relating to the Palestine Question as they have evolved throughout history, covering the period from the Pre-Ottoman/Ottoman Era until the Annapolis Conference in late 2007. The documents are arranged in chronological order with each volume including a brief introductory chapter giving a historical overview of the respective period covered.
The contents of each volume are as follows:
Vol. I: Until 1947 (Pre-Ottoman/Ottoman Era and Occupation by Allied Forces until 1922 / British Mandate Era and the UN Partition Plan, 1923-1947)
Vol. II: 1948-1973 (Jordanian/Egyptian Rule in the West Bank & Gaza Strip, 1948-1967 / June War 1967 – Ge-neva Peace Conference 1973)
Vol. III: 1974-1987 (Post-Geneva Conference – Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty, 1974-1979 / Post-Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty – Period Prior to the 1st Intifada, 1979-1987)
Vol. IV: 1987-1994 (First Intifada – After the Madrid Middle East Peace Conference, 1987-1991 / Middle East Peace Negotiations 1992-1994)
Vol. V: 1995-1999 (Middle East Peace Negotiations 1995-September 1999)
Vol. VI: 1999-2002 (Post-Sharm El-Sheikh Memorandum – Taba Talks, 1999-2001 / Stalemate in the Middle East Peace Negotiations: Post-Taba Talks – October 2002)
