Description
After almost a century of dispossession, subjugation,
discrimination and suffering, Palestinians continue to live
under foreign occupation and are still striving to fulfill their
dreams of an independent and sovereign state in the face of
inexorable Israeli violations of international law, the passive
or active complicity of their Arab state neighbors and the
wider international community, as well as the ongoing
divisions and internal conflicts in their midst. This
publication retraces the history of the Palestinian struggle for
statehood, from the exordium of the Palestinian national
movement to the recent bid for statehood at the United
Nations.
