This booklet gives an insight into and reflects on the causes, hopes and processes of the meetings that took place between Palestinians and Israelis in the late 1980s, i.e., prior to the launching of the 1991 Madrid peace conference, and tries to assess whether those meetings have a future and where they may head to.
